Athena was not the first wedding planner I had initial meeting with but I can say with 100% confidence that she is the right one.<\/strong><\/p>

As a wedding professional, she give reasonable suggestions on vendor choices, wedding details, etc, tailored to your needs. As a planner, she is willing to take in your ideas and thoughts then blend it beautifully into your wedding. As a friend, she is the ear to hear and understand all your stress and concerns about the wedding. I literally cannot ask more from her.<\/strong><\/p>

In addition, our wedding is in the middle of a pandemic, things change rapidly. Athena is always one step ahead of the situation. We started talking about possible changes in March and later decided to postpone to September. When I realized I might be losing all the deposits, she already started conversations with every single vendor of mine about the availability and credit transferring. I still remember the day she told me that she got confirmation from all vendors. Her smoothing voice immediately calmed me down and I definitely feel like she is the best decision I made in my wedding planning process.<\/strong><\/p>

Wedding day was not the perfect weather, windy and drizzle. Her day unfortunately started a couple hours earlier with my call nagging about our setting will be all over the place due to the weather. But I forget she is that detail oriented super women! Athena made last minute changes to the dessert and welcome table which turned out to be heart warming and cozy. Me, my hubby and all of my guest enjoyed my wedding day from the first minute to the end.<\/strong><\/p>

How do you plan an outdoor COVID wedding? In the rain with temperature below 10? The answer is you can’t. But Athena can. We knew she was the right planner for us the first time we met. Athena is patient, she listens and she gives honest advise. She also recommended other vendors based on our personalities and preferences. With the big surprise of COVID this year, most of our previous planning were no longer applicable and we basically had to start from scratch at the last minute. As a frontline worker, I had specific concerns and precautions. Athena was 100% supportive and worked tirelessly to ensure all guests of the wedding were safe yet comfortable. Emily and her team were PERFECT in every way and truly went above and beyond to make our lives completely stress free from day one of planning to the very end of the wedding day! Emily was attentive, very responsive, patient, highly experienced, professional, thoughtful, and all around critical in our wedding. She provided advice for planning and was so easy to work with that even our bridal party and family couldn’t stop raving about her! Emily made sure we stayed on schedule a month leading up to the big day (and on the day of). Even when she had many weddings on the go, she always made us feel like we were the only ones she was working with and so we never felt that we were not being attended to! My husband and I keep repeating to ourselves, “what would we have done without Emily?” . As a bride, you don’t want anymore stress especially on your special day, Emily made our day seamless with coordinating all the food\/decor pick ups, attending to family\/moving them different venues, keeping us on schedule so we don’t pay late fees, dealing with vendors, setting up\/cleaning up our dinner decor, creating the dessert table, setting up the welcoming table, coordinating the late night foods, setting up and cleaning up all of our many ceremonies\/reception, paying our vendors, the list is endless! She is worth it for your sanity! We woke up the next day and everything was DONE (cleaned and packed), it was magical and we are so happy to have Emily as our wedding pro behind the scenes!! Note – we were not planning on having a coordinator but with all the tasks that needed to be done, we realized that we VERY MUCH NEEDED HELP (you can’t rely on friends, the bridal party, or family to do these things – trust me). Given the size of the wedding (final guest count was 230+), the tradition in the region where I came from, and the fact that I am very detailed-oriented, there were lots of questions, concerns, and changes in the entire process, even right up to the day before the wedding. But Emily and Athena helped resolving every single issue that we had and, most importantly, made sure that we did not feel stressed out so that we can enjoy the big day.<\/strong><\/p>

There are 3 examples I’d like to share that highlight Athena’s expertise and thoughtfulness.<\/strong><\/p>

1. Athena is very detail oriented and professional, she checked up with me often along the planning phase and have given me lots of good tips. She helped us to design the wedding day timeline, breaking down to minutes! We had revisions back and forth many times and finally we had a perfect timeline! All our guests, wedding party commented that the day was just so perfect! And I know my wedding day can not run smoothly without Athena’s expertise in designing the day !<\/strong><\/p>

2. I originally instructed my relatives to set up the dining tables with candles, menu cards and wedding favors while Athena and her team helped with setting up the reception table. After the initial set up, Athena noticed wedding favor’s colour is too bold(red) to go with the d\u00e9cor and theme of my wedding (soft peach and plum). She asked to take the wedding favor off the table and put them aside. She then ran to me( I was taking photos) and told me of her decision. Without seeing the set up myself, I totally trusted Athena’s aesthetics and expertise and had the wedding favor removed from the table. When I arrived in the dining hall and saw the pictures afterwards(with the wedding favors on the table), I felt that Athena have saved my wedding day! The color mismatch would have ruined my wedding set up and that would be a disaster for me! I am so happy Athena was able to catch it and saved it!<\/strong><\/p>

3. We had one cocktail hour between wedding ceremony and reception. While guests were enjoying the food and drinks, we (wedding party ) were taking photos outside, we had only about 10 minutes before entering the dining hall. At that point, everyone was exhausted from the day. Guess what? We were greeted with finger foods! And I didn\u2019t remember I have coordinated this with the venue. It is my lovely Athena who is that thoughtful, she instructed kitchen to send some food upstairs. It turns out that’s the only food I had during the whole day! Good job Athena!<\/strong><\/p>

I am sure there were many other important things behind the scene I missed. In fact I didn’t notice any problems or delays thanks to Athena. All I remember is my wedding day was perfect, Athena has taken care of all of it! She coordinated with the venue, minister, catering, photographers, DJ and all the guests! I was so happy and extremely satisfied with Athena and have since introduced her to at least 2 of my friends.
